From 24 September to 1 October, we had the pleasure of hosting wonderful participants from Croatia, Cyprus, Turkey, Latvia, and Poland in Gdynia .

During the project LIFE IS FANTASTIC WITHOUT MICROPLASTIC – creating an eco-friendly world by using our inner potential, we tried to impart knowledge about ecology to the participants.

On the first day of the exchange, our participants had the opportunity to take part in the “scavenger hunt” game, during which they learnt about the history of the city and its interesting sights. On the same day, there was a culture night and a creativity workshop. On the following days, there were workshops on fake news, ecological innovation, the great pacific garbage patch and critical thinking.

One of the participants also volunteered to lead a manual workshop, she taught us all how to make recycled bags.

In addition to the classes, we visited sewage treatment and local NGO .
We showed participants a young scientist's innovation that easily purifies water from microplastics - Fionn Ferreira, participants had the possibility to try the experiment themselves during the project.
